– olive oil – yellow or white onion – ground beef – salt – tomato paste – garlic – chili powder – ground cumin – black pepper – canned crushed or diced tomatoes – pinto beans – kidney beans – beef broth
Cook the onions until softened, and then brown the ground beef.
Add garlic, tomato paste, and spices and cook until fragrant.
Add remaining ingredients and bring to a simmer.
Simmer for 20 to 30 minutes, until the meat is cooked through and chili has thickened.
Spoon into bowls, top with sour cream and cheese, and enjoy!
