EASY STREUSEL PUMPKIN BREAD

YOU WILL NEED

– ½ cup all-purpose flour – ¼ cup + 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar – 4 tablespoons salted butter  – 1¾ cups all-purpose flour – 1 teaspoon baking soda – ¾ teaspoon salt – ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon  – ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg – ¼ teaspoon ground cloves – ⅛ teaspoon ground ginger – 1 cup pumpkin puree – 2 large eggs – ½ cup vegetable oil – ⅓ cup milk   – 1½ cups granulated sugar   – ½ cup  powdered sugar – ¼ teaspoon maple or vanilla extract – 1 tablespoon milk or cream

STEP 1

In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and spices. In a large bowl, whisk together wet ingredients and sugar. 

STEP 2

Stir the dry ingredients into the wet until just combined. 

STEP 3

Transfer batter to a prepared 9x5-inch loaf pan. 

STEP 4

Drop handfuls of streusel over the top.

STEP 5

Bake for about 1 hour, until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean. 

STEP 5

Top with maple glaze, allow bread to cool for 20 minutes, slice, and enjoy!
