CHEESY BACON POTATO SOUP

YOU WILL NEED

– uncooked bacon  – medium onion – celery – russet potatoes – chicken broth – butter – all-purpose flour – milk – shredded cheddar cheese – salt and pepper

STEP 1

Fry the bacon until just cooked. 

STEP 2

Cook onions and celery and then add potatoes and simmer until potatoes are fork tender. 

STEP 3

Make a quick cheese sauce with butter, flour, milk, and shredded cheese.  

STEP 4

Stir the cheese sauce into the soup. 

STEP 5

Add bacon back to the pot, serve, and enjoy!!
